2011 Race Information
The race/walk will start and finish on the path behind the McGlynn School, located next to Hormel Stadium in Medford. The route will go around MacDonald Park.
Route details: The 3.1 mile route starts and finishes behind the McGlynn School, with the route going around MacDonald Park. Runners/walkers will follow the path that goes around the outside of the entire park. The route will be marked with arrows and volunteers.
Time: 10:00AM Start. 9:00AM Registration.
Registration: Register in advance or on race day. Click here for a registration form. Register early (before September 26) and be guaranteed a T-shirt!
Prizes for different age groups: Prizes generously donated by local and area businesses, including John Brewer’s Tavern.
Food: Free food for walkers, runners, and volunteers will once again be generously donated by Raso’s. Bucci’s of Everett is also donating food.
The Cause: Event proceeds are donated in loving memory of Medford police officer Patrick Fahey and will help several deserving Medford children attend summer camp.
Parking: There are several events going on at the same time on race day. Parking will be tight so please be mindful of that, as well as of the other activities that are taking place. We encourage walking to the race/walk if possible. Parking lots are available directly in front of Hormel Stadium, in front of the McGlynn School, in between the McGlynn School and Andrews Middle School, and in front of the Andrews Middle School.
