4th Medford Fit for Life Walk/Run Sunday, October 3
Posted: under Race Details.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Monday, September 27, 2010. We are moving the location of the Start/Finish from in front of Hormel Stadium to in behind the McGlynn School. The race/walk will start and finish on the path next to the hockey rink. The route will still go around MacDonald Park but will be slightly shorter than a 5K. The route is now 2.9 miles with the new start and finish. We are sorry to do this but due to several activities going on at once on that day we need to make sure we can accommodate everyone.
Route details: The 2.9 mile route starts and finishes behind the McGlynn School, with the route going around MacDonald Park. Runners/walkers will follow the path that goes around the outside of the entire park with the river on their right. The first mile is just past the state police station and the second mile is a couple hundred yards past the boat house. The start/finish is located behind the McGlynn School at Hormel Stadium.
Time: 10:00AM
Registration: Register in advance or on race day. Click here for registration details. Register early (before September 27) and be guaranteed a T-shirt!

Food: Free food for walkers, runners, and volunteers will once again be generously donated by Raso’s.

The Cause: Event proceeds are donated in loving memory of Medford police officer Patrick Fahey and will help several deserving Medford children attend summer camp.
